The city of Akre, which occupies an important position due to its geographical location and its diverse tourism potential in all its aspects, is considered a significant case in the modern era. Interest in tourism has become evident across all societies, regardless of their social patterns. The authorities in the Kurdistan Region have paid great attention to the tourism sector due to its impact on comprehensive development. The Kurdistan Region of Iraq is distinguished by its geographical location in the region and the world, as well as its history and the successive civilizations it has witnessed since the earliest human settlements in the ancient Near East.
